Shardul Thakur is someone who is quite underrated, the way he perform in the iconic INDIA VS AUSTRALIA series and in the Limited over series against England in India, he perform extremely well.
If we see his batting, he is not someone like Hardik but he can bat well,as we see in Australia, he also shows his ability in domestic too. He have the ability to make 35-40 quick run at no.8 for India, in the previous series against England in a match where all the batsman got out and he and Krunal batting, he hit very important 30 runs at a strike rate of 145 and at the other end krunal playing at a strike rate of 73, he shows some glimpses of his batting, basically the runs he made they are very crucial runs and very tough also because in death the main bowlers are bowling in that time.
And his bowling, he is a wicket taker or partnership breaker whenever captain needs a wicket he gives the ball to Shardul and he also delivers,in IPL he bowls tough overs and Captain Dhoni backs him, as we all know if Dhoni is backing him so he must have something special.
He is someone who is not 6 feet tall,not any anyone who bowls 140+ consistently,he can bowl one or two 140+ balls in an over, he have two or three types of slower ball and if we remember the T-20i India play in NZ where Shardul take 2 or 3 wicket in an over and turns the game in favour of India.
If Hardik is not available then Shardul with Jadeja is a destroying combination.
Now,India is Considering Shardul as Seam-Bowling all rounder, I think in the upcoming series against England he could be very leathel weapon for Indian Team.
